We've always been fascinated by Bandhani- one of the oldest living crafts of Gujarat, India. The cloth is tied by hand in thousands of tiny points, bound so tightly the dye can never reach them, leaving each centre pure and untouched. That single idea: the gathered dots, the open centre, the promise of something new became tactile in DORI's latest festive collection. From loom to light, Bandhani is carried into fine jewellery: a piece of heritage, worn every day.
